Marshmallow Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 2/3 teaspoon vanilla
- dash of salt
Directions:
- Heat sugar, water and corn syrup to boiling in 2-quart saucepan; reduce heat.
- Simmer uncovered 4 minutes, stirring occasionally; remove from heat.
- Stir in remaining ingredients until marshmallows are melted and texture is smooth.
- 20 large marshmellows, cut into fourths, can be substituted for miniature marshmallows.
- Use over ice cream or other desserts.
