- 3 lbs boneless chuck roast
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tbs. Dijon mustard
- 2 tbs. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- Place meat in crock pot.
- Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl, and pour over meat.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours or 4-5 hours on high.
- Remove meat from crock pot and shred with a fork.
- Place meat back into crock pot and stir.
- Serve on buns!
This is even better as leftovers, because it has time to marinade. Enjoy! I love it because I can put it in the crock pot and leave it in the morning and come home to a wonderful smell and yummy food!
