- 2 French bread loaves sliced
- 8 lg. eggs
- 4 c. whipping cream
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2-1 t. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 t. nutmeg
- 4 t. vanilla
- Garnish with powdered sugar, raspberries, and blueberries.
Directions:
- Beat eggs, cream, sugar, spices and vanilla until fluffy.
- Place bread slices in 9x13 pan.
- Pour egg mixture evenly over the bread slices.
- Let stand for 30 min. or until liquid is absorbed.
- Remove bread slices letting excess drip off.
- Cook on griddle over med-high heat for 2 min. on each side or until golden brown.
- Place cooked slices on a baking sheet and keep warm in 200 degree oven, while cooking the rest.
- Garnish with powdered sugar, raspberries and blueberries.
- Serve with butter and warm syrup.
