Weekly Recipes
I've had several requests to NOT have a weekly recipe guide, just post whatever recipes whenever. I'd love to hear everyones thoughts on this. Thank you!
Either way is fine with me. If posting slows down a bit we could then do suggested themes. I would also like to see: food prep tips (such as preparing ingredients, using your freezer, etc), healthy meals, kids snacks, menus (A full meal menu like: Sunday dinner: ham, cheesy potatoes, salad, etc with links to those recipes if available.)
I'd like to keep the weekly theme, as many people have ideas for it. It should work okay to have a "weekly theme" which will be optional to follow, AND let people post any recipe at anytime?! right?!
I like the weekly theme, but like you said it could just be a guideline. If you have something else to post that would be fine, too!! I like the Sunday meal menu and kid's snacks and lunches ideas, too.
I don't really contribute to the recipes, but I do enjoy browsing through all of them, themed or "unthemed." :) I think as long as the category is listed in the label section, people can find what they're looking for. I do think the weekly theme is a good idea to, though.
I changed my mind. I like the weekly themes but then people could add more recipes of whatever catergory after they did the weekly theme. also I'd like to see a crockpot week and maybe a kids' snack/meal week and maybe a grilling week once summer is here.

Either way is fine with me. I DO want to see some ideas for kids' lunches tho...
either way's ok with me.
me 3 for kid friendly recipes
I kind of like having the weekly ideas, but I guess what the majority wants, is ok, too.

Could we have a crockpot week?!

I think the categories are great to keep recipes organized. Here are some themes I am interested in:
Bag lunch ideas for work
Menu planning (full meals, quick meals, etc)
Quick meals
Healthy meals
Quick & healthy meals
I am awful with menu planning & oftentimes plan the meal when it should be on the table...hence the need for quick prep meals (& healthy). :)
